THIS COURSE offers 8 modules and downloadable material to diagnose and address bruxism in children, just like the world's leading experts.

Module 1: Introduction to bruxism

We will explore the understanding of bruxism as a central alteration and, therefore, the impossibility of addressing it solely from dental aspects.

Modules 2 and 3: Diagnosis and Treatment of Bruxism

We will practically address the STAB (Standardised Tool for the Assessment of Bruxism) to learn how to correctly diagnose and manage bruxism in children using the most recently published standardized guide.

Module 4: Instrumental Assessment and Identification of Protective or Alarm Bruxism

We will discuss the different validated and standardized instruments for the assessment of bruxism, as well as the usefulness and interpretation of the various diagnostic aids available in the dental office that are helpful in identifying bruxism as a protective or warning factor.

Module 5: Etiological Factors and Comorbidities of Bruxism

We will discuss in detail the etiology of bruxism in children and different underlying diseases that may be related to it, and how to intervene in them from the dental office.

Modules 6, 7, and 8: Successful Clinical Cases in Managing Bruxism in Children

Dr. Claudia Restrepo Serna presents three success stories of children diagnosed with bruxism and how they were treated following the guidelines presented in the course until a satisfactory process was achieved.
